 FMOS Microscope Objectives
The system diagram also shows four Infinity-Corrected Objective
Modules. The lower end of each has an M26 x 36T mounting
thread for attaching Optem® or Mitutoyo brand Objectives.
An adapter is available for
converting this thread to a standard .800 x 36T RMS objective thread for
attaching other brands of infinity-corrected objectives.
A small diameter
ring light is an option for providing a “pseudo dark-field” effect. A
four-hole nosepiece may be attached to this same thread.
The use
of infinity corrected microscope objectives is feasible within the common
restrictions of magnification range due to vignetting and illumination
difficulties.

Infinity Corrected Objective Chart provides
optical performance data to specify your FMOS System. NOTE: Varying levels of vignetting may occur with infinity-corrected
objectives, dependent upon system configuration.
